My girlfriend found a nice silver trunk on ebay for $90 so I took off my 1200's hand hold behind the passanger and fabricated a mounting plate to it. The hardest part was designing the recess in the sheet metal to dip down in the body work to reach the four screw holes. After that it was easy. I bolted together the first one I've made but I will weld any more I make. Now I am fabricating a Class 1 hitch for my Bandit to pull a 2' by 4' trailer. I built my own pc from parts (Athlon 64, 160G SATA, 1G DDS400, etc.).
I pulled the motor and tranny out of my Z and rebuilt them myself (took head to machine shop). I built a 30' by 30 foot addition to a house last year (95% single handedly, including rough and finish elec). I have the equivalent of 16 years of college education in what you would probably think of as metaphysics (but which is in fact the realities of the physical and spiritual universes). On an IQ test which has a high score of 155, I score 150. The failure is not in making an error but it is in repeating it.

Don't take my comment as a critisism of your abilities. However, most companies that produce racks and motorcycle trailer hitches make sure they have the engineering and liability insurance to cover them.
I'd hate to see someone hurt or you being sued if you have a failure

Thanks for the helpful comments. I never intended nor never would set someone else up with a trailer. I don't create things for myself to make anyone happy but me. I may suffer from the sin of pride, but I am happy since I do not suffer other's invalidation.
PS: My Montero Sport holds bigger boxes especially when I'm towing the 5' x 10' (6' high) covered trailer I weilded together. Total trailer cost - $300.

Any teenager can build pc's nowdays. They're fairly plug n' play.
It only takes a Haynes manual to pull a motor or tranny.
Most carpenters (I'm one, so I know), are about 90 IQ. Basic Google proficiency gets you the plumbing, wiring and HVAC info to do a small addition.
Studying "spiritual universes" is more speculation than education.
If you're going to brag anonymously about your IQ, be prepared for criticism, whether you're validated by it or not.

I didn't say I was a carpenter. I said I built a 900 sq. ft. addition on a guy's house (99% single handedly). But I'm sure that doesn't matter to you. Some people are positive and some are negative. I'm happy because I don't allow people to be negative around me (this is the actual cause of stress).
As far as spirituality, there are two scientifically demonstrable phenomena which clearly point to the fact that we are all immortal, spiritual beings. Those in the West don't look into these much but they have been known for 10,000 years in the East. The first is verifiable past-life recall (see http://www.rogerwoolger.com/pages/septics.html or Goggle yourself but know that while hypnosis is very effective, it brings little benefit as the person's awareness is lowered. Hypnosis can even be harmful due to comments from the practitioner). Around a thousand years ago, a Pope had all references of past-lives culled out of the Bible but Jesus' reply to Necodemus about being born again remains. The second is the ability to leave the body, "out of body experience, etc. (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remote_viewing ). We don't just leave the body when we die but often do under great duress (operations, etc). Many have regained the ability to do so with full awareness.

Did you know Jesus was a carpenter? So was Harrison Ford for that matter. I think he looks kinda silly with the earring (I mean Harrison. I don't think Jesus wore one). My daughter got new earrings when we were in Disney last week. Did you ever notice that the round, black mirrors on some naked bikes, like SVs look like Mickey Mouse's ears? My friend has an SV but it's a track bike so it doesn't have mirrors. Here's a pic of me on the track:
