In older days of bias ply tires we often looked for a cold to hot pressure rise of about 10%, indicating the tire was flexing and generating enough heat to raise the pressure that amount.
I believe, after a conversatinon with the Michelin rep. at a recent trade show, that radials probably don't generate as much heat and the number should probably be closer to a 5% rise is pressure.
This seems to be true for my Bandit 1200 with Metzeler ME880 radials, at least in the summer weather.
