I just received my Moto Pak saddlebags. They are nice and were pretty cheap. With shipping they were $114. You'll notice the loose straps hanging down but the manufacturer says that they should be cut down and melt the tips. Overall, I'm happy with the bags and would recommend them to others. The tank bag is a friends and is not motopak. Also, there is a rain cover on each bag that is permanently attached which is really nice. (http://magneticdrainplug.com/images/IMG_1912.jpg)

P.S. I got them on ebay.

Nefton, what brand of bellypan are you using?

I got it from Streetfighters by Design. It has two halogen lights which are really nice. When I bought it it was cheaper then they are selling it now. It was only $350 when I bought it. You can get it with or without the lights. Cheaper without. Here is the link to it:

Thanks for the info. I've seen it before and liked the idea of the lights but couldn't remember where I saw it.
:thanks:

I've been looking at the same bags myself.
How is the mounting on them? Any cowl-scratching potential that you can tell?

I have the full setup from motopack, and they work pretty well. They include all the hardware, straps, bungees, liners, built in rain covers etc. I use the tank bag, trunk bag, and saddlebags on longer trips. However, don't leave them out in the sun too long, the black fades fast. Well made, expandable, I've been very happy with mine. The saddlebags are fine with a passenger, no complaints.

I've had them for a little bit now and like them alot. The price was very nice. They mount easy on the bandit 12 and fit very well. I'm going to make two brackets that the rear bag straps can attach easy to. They will mount onto bolts that are located on the rear fender. I'll post when I make them. I haven't had any scratching issues with the bags either.

Are those the GTS60 or the GTS90's??
