Title: Lower Fairing for '07 1250

I'm ordering a new '07 1250 in black next month, and the first thing I want for it is a lower fairing.

I've seen a few sources, but nothing for an '07 yet.

Will the ones for the '06 fit on the '07?

Also, I've heard that some makes will cause high-speed wobbling and/or heat issues. I don't care about price, I just want the best lower fairing out there that will look good and provide the best protection without hurting performance.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!  :thanks:

You may want to contact some UK dealers as they will be able to get the Suzuki lowers that they put on the GT version of the Bandit...

So there is an official GT version of the new Bandit? Is it like the pic of the red one at a German bike show that was posted here? I'd love to get some more info on the bagged and faired one in that pic!

Well,  checked out some UK sites, but not much on GT models. I found some Susuki lowers there, but it looked like the ones that gave another guy some bad heat and wobble issues. He said the bike got real unstable at 70+ and his legs got hot. Not for me.

I'm wondering about aftermarket fairings... I saw a couple I like but I don't know if they fit an '07.

Aside from the thicker down tubes, are there any frame changes on mounting points from '06-'07?
