Maxxis Promaxx 6102/6103 Review
« on: March 27, 2007, 12:47:51 AM »
Hey guys just so you know, on my bandit 600 I receintly purchased a set of these tires (Maxxis Promaxx 6102/6103), for $120 shipped to my door and they're great. I had a set of Metzler's on the bike before and they performed awesome, just a bit pricy (like any good sport tire) Anyways the reason I'm writing this thread is to let you know that these tires rule! For $120 shipped to the door! I put these tires on the bike and tried to pull a wheelie, first try the front lifted right up, I didn't even let the tires warm up, they had about 30ft worth of riding on them. On the ride home the ride was smooth as ever and the corners felt real good. I haven't ripped into them yet as they are new and I like to wait about 100 miles, but I was able to pull wheelies right away and they are supposed to be sport/cruising tires. I got them from this place called AMT (American Motorcycle Tire) http://www.americanmototire.com/ Seriously come of the cheapest tires around! Just thought you should know!
