Do you guys think that a fresh set of M-1's would last on a 1500 mile trip on a B6 with luggage along the Blue Ridge Parkway and alittle run into West Virginia? I want to run a set of M-1's really bad! I know I can run M-1 up front and a z6 on the rear but I'm running z6 now and want someting alittle more sticky.

I got around 7000km (around 4300 miles) from the rear on my B12 - that was a mix of sports touring (light loads) and commuting. There wasn't much tread left though. I got double that from the front.
So I'd say you could do the trip but you'd probably have to look at replacing the rear when you get home.

I don't see why your Z6's wouldn't be a problem unless you plan of scraping your knees. I rode the Dragon with a Macadam 90X on the front and a Pilot Road on the rear and didn't have any issues. To top it off, I have a Z6 on the front and like the bike even better.

I have a Z6 for the rear and when I go home in September, I am going to take off the Pilot Raod and install the Z6.

I really need to start romping on my bike. It has the original Macadam's on it with 4900 miles....and still has lots of tread!

I rode the BRP on Roadtec Z6s a couple of times last year and had no problems at all. I'd run through about 3 sets of BT010s before switching to the Z6s. I replaced the rear after about 6K miles, but the front still had lots of tread left. So far, i've been happy with the Z6s.
Bandit has a little over 40K on it now.
