Some people are like Slinkies.
They're really good for nothing.
But they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Get a couple of the 2" round wide-angle stick-on  mirrors and put them on top of your mirrors.  They take the buzz out nicely.

I put one just on my right mirror, and the difference in clarity between the left and right is noticeable.

I put bar end mirrors on one m Bandits-less buzz and I can see behind me. I like this style better than the little round ones previously posted. I think Dennis Kirk and
Chaparral still carry them as well as most Euro collector bike shops.
Skyking makes some cool, spendy bar ends out of machined aluminum for the Speed Triple which would also work.

This pair of mirrors traveled from a Ducati to my Norton to my /2 BMW to my Speed Triple before ending up on the yellow Bandit...

(sorry I don't have a better picture handy)

I have an 02 and mine are bad as well. One is worse than the other and so I got to looking at what's under the rubber boot. The hinge point is nothing more than a rivet through some spring washers. It can't be adjusted.

I kind of like the looks of the new mirrors. The ugly rubber boot is gone and so is the stupid hinge. I don't know they are any better but they sure look better. I think they may be the same as whats on the Katana.

I'm out of money for new toys this year but the mirrors are on my wish list.

I also put fish eye stick ons on the inside of my mirrors where I only see my elbows anyway. They work great.
Do or do not, there is no try.

I like the napoleon mirrors I ordered from Dale Walkers Holeshot. The vibration is 90% lower than my previous mirrors, basically no vibration unless you killing it at 9K+RPM on my 1200 bandit.  I don't fancy bar end mirrors so much, so there is another option..
