Metzeler M-3 ???
« on: January 18, 2006, 07:34:59 PM »
I was looking through Denniskirk.com for deals on tires and saw the new Metzeler Sportec M-3.  I never even heard of this or even seen them in any magazines.  Anyone have the 411 on this tires?

Since the M3 isn't listed on the Metzeler site, I'd say it's a non-current tire and that's probably why they're on sale. I'd be wary of their born-on date.

NO it's on there you need to look at the news section and I've found  european mag and Sport Rider mag reviews of the tire.

There actually all over the net reviews that is.  I think I'm going to stick them on my B6 and ride them untill I sell it this fall and get my Gixxer 600. It comes with Bridgestone 014, I'm sure if I will keeps this on it or not.  I'm not real fond of Bridgestone tires.

They're the replacement for the short-lived M1.  I think it's funny - the M1 got killed by the Pilot Powers (deservedly so) so Metz made the M3 to look just like the power.  I'll be interested to hear some real world reviews.
