Got Dale's PAIR removal system today so I installed that and my new full Muzzy exhaust system...

Looks nice...  It is strange that most pipes look so big to me since I installed my holeshot high mount.  My can is small and short (14" can).  The Muzzy system does look good on the bike.

Glad I found this pic, once I realized how bad my midpipe and exhaust were I bought a used Muzzy on ebay. Do you remember the jetting you used for it Paul? I may stick with my now modified hindle pipe which after being taken apart will measure in around 15"

Prior to getting the Muzzy system, I already had Ivan's jet kit installed, with a Yoshimura RS-3 slip-on.  (Ivan's kit is 110 mains, the stock pilots, and his own needle jets.  A/F screws are turned out to 4 turns.)

I called Ivan after getting the full Muzzy system to see if any jetting changes were necessary.  He said no... and in addition... he said he felt the full Muzzy system was the best performing exhaust system for the B12.

Side story... I actually was able to buy 3 Muzzy systems (retail value of about $1600) directly from Muzzy for $450 shipped when they were clearing them out of their factory inventory.

I kept the best full system for myself, and sold the other two for about $650... essentially giving me a great exhaust for free, and about $200 profit to boot.

thats sweet, thanks for the info, I've been running the Hindle slip on with a Dyno Jet stage 1, I'm glad to finally get a full system though... picked it up on flea bay for $300 shipped with a carbon can, used obviously so not nearly the deal you got. Am excited to see how it does on the dyno now.

Installed and have been running the new Muzzy for a bit now. The performance seems great and the sound is nice. It actually seems a little quieter at idle than the hindle. If my memory serves me right the hindle was a little deeper sounding.
Strangest thing about starting spring with a new exhaust and handlebar is that it's like a brand new bike, and while I missed 'my bandit' for a few minutes it was certainly easy to get used to. It now sounds unlike anything else here locally.

$300 for a full system with carbon can is a great deal.  You need to get us some pics.   :thumb:

Took me a little time to get used to the Muzzy sound too.  At first I thought I liked the Yosh RS3 sound better... the Muzzy seemed a little raspier.

But now I'm definitely content with the way it is, and it's definitely quieter than some other brands.
