Napoleon mirrors

Are Napoleon mirrors worth the $ they cost on Dales web sight? I found ones that look just like them at half the price at DK. The brand is Ken Sean.(I never heard of them) What do you guys think? Thanks, Dave

In the Feb. 1997 issue of Rider magazine, there was an article on modifying a 600 Bandit titled Project Bandito. They used Ken Sean mirrors that look like the mirrors at Holeshot. They seemed to like them so I tried them on my 96 b6. I have no complaints about them and I prefer them to the stock mirrors. I have not tried Holeshots mirrors so I can't say if one is better than the other.

Just curious, how is the visibility compared to the stock mirrors?  Do they stick out a little more?

Anyone have any experience or pics of the long stems?

These mirrors have pretty good visibility (not as good as stock). Note the small blind spot mirrors... they more than make-up for any weakness in visibility.

I had the long stem Napoleon mirrors on my B12. I thought they looked nice and they were somewhat of an improvement over stock. I still ended up with about half of each shoulder in the mirror.  My $.02

I still see alot of me in the mirrors but I wear a 58 long jacket so I'm a bit wider than most folks. I have been thinking of trying Holeshots mirror extenders. I think they might just do the trick with the replacement mirrors.

That was my problem too flip. I am a wide load. I wear a 52.

Follow up:

I ended up ordering the long stems from Holeshot.  I rode around today, and they definitely give better coverage in terms of what you can see.  They also look a lot better than stock, in my opinion.  My only complaint is that they seem to buzz around 5-6K more than my stock mirrors do.  I'm going to try playing around with them a little to see if I can fix that.  Will post a another follow up...

That where I attach my NOS bottle.....



































































jk.......... the previous owner had fairing mounted mirrors on the bike and they sucked.  Those screws just cover up the holes that were left after taking them off.

Actually, I put some different ones in there now and they look pretty good, I think.
