New Bandit owner, Let the modding begin!
« on: April 24, 2005, 03:17:09 PM »
I am a new B12 owner and would like to introduce myself.  My name is David and I live in Poughkeepsie, NY.  I purchased a Super clean stock B12 a few weeks ago.  I have put about 500 miles on so far, and overall I am happy.

I already began the Modding with the following:
Holeshot 14inch slip-on.
Holeshot exhaust bracket.
Chopped rear fender and new indicators.
New Front indicators.
Black Pro-Taper MotoCross bars
CRG bar end mirrors.
All Chrome painted in Black ghost chrome.

Near future mods include:
SS brake lines, speedbleeders and new pads.
Front and rear suspension tweaks, undecided on hardware.
Relocate horns.
Rearsets.

Pics can be found here if interested

That looks super clean, nice bike. Im just about to do the front springs on my bike. Have already done the SS brake line and they make a big differance. So good luck with the Mods.

David,

Welcome to the Bandit club.  There are a few of us in the New York area, so check the regional section from time to time, as we're going to try to set some group rides up.

Those pro tapers are sweet. don't forget to jet to that pipe for max power and cool running. I'd love to ride around the padisades and up around bear mountain.
