1999 Bandit 1200S
I live in Arizona where the temps run into the 100-120's for several months. the mornings are cool (75-80) but after work it's blistering...
Question: how can I keep the bike running in the heat. I seem to have to choke it 1/3 to keep it running at the stop lights? Will fuel injection ruin that or help?

Are you running stock jetting? If so, a jet kit will probably be the easy solution.
Fuel injection would help, but it's not a very cheap or easy fix for the carb'd bikes.

With a Stage I there's little if any change, some even report an increase. With a Stage II/III (pod filters), expect a 2-5 mpg (US) drop.
Dynojet kits seem to get the biggest drop in mileage and also seem the hardest to dial in. Holeshot & Ivans seem to be the most popular kits for the B12.
