Title: re-polishing header pipe

Hi there!
Was just wondering if the header pipe could be repolished after extensive heat damage coloring.  I don't like the purple/gold hues on my 04.  And if so, what to use?

Blue magic metal polish and a Mothers Powerball.  Both available at Autozone.
