I have a Krauser rack and trunk on my 1g b6. When i was shopping for a luggage rack, I thought the Krauser was the best looking one I found. That said, I have seen some posts that say the Krauser racks for the 2g Bandits are very weak and may even contribute to damaging the bike.

if you don't like that one Holeshot also has one...

FWIW - Holeshot only makes a rack for the 2G.

Renntec & Ventura make racks for all three gens of the Bandit 600/650/1200.

I have both top and side racks from Krauser on my bike.  They are strong and have caused no damage to the bike.

I'll search Krauser on this board, but is this where you've seen these reports?

I found the link...holy crap!!!  I've had my topcase on for over, uh, 15,000 miles and nothing like that (yet)!!  I know for sure that I've exceeded Krauser's suggested weight limit more than a few times.  I'm keepin' an eye on it.  Wow!!

I have the Ventura Bike Pack on mine. I can't say enough good things about it. It was the first thing I got for my bike. It has hauled everything from cases of beer to a Sears 3-gallon air compressor. It has been the tiedown point for three cross country moves as well. The company has really stood by the product as well. I once lost one of the little thumbscrew things and they shipped me two new ones. No questions asked.

Nice bike Bro. I just returned from a vacation in San Francisco and other parts. You live in a beautiful place. What kind of windshield is that?
