Hi guys, just wondering if any of you have aftermarket rear sets, or jack up plates for your B12's? I am looking to buy some soon, and I am wondering about the aftermarket items that remove the rubber mounting. Would this make the bike uncomfortable for all day riding? I don't know how much it would affect it?

ValterMoto type 1.5 on my '05 B1200S. These are 3 position adjustable and made very nicely. You will need to wire in a pressure switch banyo for the rear brake light.
Overall very pleased with them for my application. I have clip-ons and am running a 2in lower seat also. They bolt up directly to the frame therefore no flexing but the vibration is worse than stock.
I do not go on 400 mile rides though, if you plan to tour I would leave the pegs stock.
Good Luck, Ed

That's what I was thinking. I go on 300-400 km (sorry don't know miles) rides every few weeks (when I can get time off work). So I might start playing around with custom stuff so I can keep the rubber mounting...
I can see drilled alloy now....
BTW, very nice ride 2005B12S!

Rearsets or jackup plates interchange between 1G & 2G bikes (and I'm guessing the 3G as well).
I have the NWS jackup plates on mine.

I found a company here in Canada that sitributes for Sato racing that make some beauties.
They have pics for the Bandit....www.satoracingcanada.com
I am considering them personally.
Have to pay off steering damper bill first though!

Love the looks of your carb pods set up.
