I need to replace the clutch lever and turn signal on a GSF1250SEAK9?
For the turn signal, is it necessary to remove the dash or part of the fairing to get at the connector? I tried feeling around under the "pod" but can't really tell for sure.
How do you replace the clutch lever? First bike with a hydraulic clutch.

It'll be just like the '08, I'd imagine, and yes, it's fairly easy. Just inside the cowling there is 1 nut to take loose and a backing will come off. If you trace the wire back to the center of the bike you'll find the connector. Look at a microfiche and at your new light, and you'll get an idea.
The clutch level is very simple, one bolt remove it and the lever will come off.
Don't ask how I know how easy it is. :duh:

Sounds like the same steps I've followed oh-so-many times on my '03 B12.

I've tried tracing the wire back, but can't feel where the connector is.
I know that the bolt removes the lever, but how about the "plug" in the other hole of the lever?

The wire connector is Wire Tied close to the framing, so you may skip over it, as I did at first, thinking you're feeling the plastic wire tie. Take your time, and you'll find it. You may want to remove the gauges to get to it, now that I think about it. That did make it easier for me.
When you get the new Clutch lever you'll be able to better see how it works, and if you look a the microfiche, it'll come together. The plug doesn't come out, if I remember right. When you remove that one bolt the level will easily come off, then take the new lever and slid it back into position the same way the old one came off. It really is that easy.

To remove/replace the indicator you will need to remove the instrument pod. the connectors are above the headlight behind the pod, relax though you only need to displace it and sit it out of the way, an old towel to lean it on is a good idea, you dont need to disconnect it.

Dink is right, I should have added that little detail about not disconnecting the gauges. There are just two allen head bolts holding the gauges on, and they are at the bottom. The top is slotted so watch how it comes out. There's also a rubber guide (?) on the back of the cluster that fits in a small hole on the frame, you'll want to make sure when putting it back in to match those up.

Thanks guys. Got the job done. I was a bit concerned about pulling the dash, but as you said, it's not that bad.
