Are there any saddle bags availiable for an 2002 1200s?
-
You can go to corbin.com and look at the beetle bags. Givi also offers some stuff. Or you can just buy soft luggage like the stuff I got from Cortech. I really feel the soft is the way to go for me since I hate ugly.

The beetle bags look funky to me. Givi looks better. And here's some ...

But I don't recall the maker. Perhaps someone here will know. Heck, if you're gonna go for the soft stuff, might as well just throw on a backpack,
I always say! :stickpoke:  :beers:

Personally I've been looking at these on Ebay for awhile now...

OK, kidding aside, seems I've heard of some issues involving overheating/melting on the pipe side. Is that not true?
-
I havent had any issues with the soft luggage. And its hard to move around on the bike fo cornering while wearing a backpack full of clothes and shoes!

nefton,
I have the Nelson Rigg STSB-250 soft saddle bags on my 02 Bandit. Never had any heat issue.
PaulVS,
I have the Moto-Pak tail bag. Construction quality is top notch. If I had bought the tail bag before I bought the NR saddle bags, I would have bought the MP bags, too.
-
hey PaulVS... did you bid till the end of the auctin for the motopak luggage?
-
Oh, by the way desolation angel... in your picture you have some very nice plastic around the engine. the fairing. do you have a link to where that can be purchased?
