sleeves on diff 1127 blocks inc water cooled?

does anyone have any idea if the sleeves from different years would be interchangeable with an empty one? i have an 89 with no sleeves in it and would like to buy either a used cylinder and replace the sleeves to bore them for a 1216 kit. if i had parts ready for assembly i wouldnt be waiting for machining work. anyone got a line on some 11;1ish 1216 pistons and/or kit.

The guys at APE Racing should be able to give you the definitive answer, my gut instinct says they'll interchange, but not personal experience in the matter.
