gold levers - bar ends
« on: February 13, 2006, 05:58:51 AM »
I was looking for suggestions for my 2000 Bandit 1200.

I need new Levels for the clutch/brake, and I wouldl iken ew Bar ends. Im seeking paint that matches the gold on the 4 pipes.
I plan on painting my wheels the same color as the pipes as well.

anyone have a pic of a bandit 1200 with gold rims? I would love to see this.

Gold bar ends

I have custom 'gold' bar ends on my 2002 1200S.
They are solid brass, machined by me, made very heavy to reduce vibes. They work well and look great. They match the gold nuts and bolts I got from Tasty Nuts.
If you want to see mine or even have me make you a set, email me and I'll send you a pic.
Later,

Yep, brass is the way to go, much better as it's a "natural" gold looking metal not the crappy yellow anodised look.
I've made my own brass bar ends as well and frame plugs, bungee points, fairing fasteners etc

95% of all Harley Davidsons ever made are still on the road....the other 5% made it home.
