which is better gel or corbin

To get an accurate response, you'd have to have experience with both of them. While there are some who've had both, not too many have.

I haven't tried the gel, but love my Corbin Gunfighter & Lady. I know it doesn't soak up the heat like gel seats will when left in the sun.

Most do. Some people don't like them though... just like anything else.

IMHO, the gel seat is much better than the Corbin. I've owned both. I'm sure it is an individual thing though.

humm, i would like to try the gel seat but i have no idea where to even start looking if they are not available in the us any more, not to mention they are probably going for top dollar now

I have both for a 1st generation. I found a new gel seat on Ebay a while back. I haven't used the gel seat much yet, no long rides but I think I like it better than the Corbin. It is a little softer and I sit a little higher on the gel seat which is easier on my old knees.
