Top Case Woes

So, I got the Suzuki top case because I thought it would a good colour-match for the bike (I have the blue/gray paint) and that it would hold two helmets.

Well, it isn't a good colour-match and it doesn't hold two full-face helmets as I discovered when I took my good lady for a spin on the back at the weekend. Grrr!   :annoy:

Yep, mine's an ABS model. Does that make a difference to colour where you are?

Maybe where you are it does but where I am, the ABS model comes in that colour or black which is why I asked.

Pictures of my bike and top case may be found here.

We only did a 40-mile trip for her first journey on it. The footpegs are higher than my previous bike (FJR1300) so she felt a bit like a jockey. No complaints about the seat as yet and she liked the backrest as she can now lean back and sit more upright in comfort - before she was leaning forward a little. So, verdict so far is favourable.

I'm just a little worried about that jockey pose for my wife as well. Shes no spring chicken. Anyway to move the passenger pegs out and down some you can think of?

My wife in only 54 and she coped with it. Overall, she reckoned it to be better than my old FJR. Can't see a way of changing peg position without changing the stock exhaust and replacing the alloy peg hangers with different ones.
