Title: Tyre Valves
Post by: aussiebandit on February 08, 2007, 07:50:14 PM
I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I can't find the thread.

Has anyone got any ideas or hints on what can be done to make life easier at the Petrol (gas) Station when you're trying to inflate your tyres.

I always use my own pressure guage to check the pressure, but most of the fittings at the Petrol (gas) Stations are to large to get to the valve stem.

You could install 45* or 90* valve stems.
Or a 90* adapter like this:

Thanks Paul, you've just confirmed what 'The Treasurer' told me after I posted it.

Her comment, "Why did you bother posting such a stupid question?" :duh:  :duh:

I'm sure you posted this question just for the benefit of the newer riders, so they'd save a little embarrassment.
Right :?:

 :bigok: Good job, m8!  :beers:
