It is said on another post in here that Deepink uses an RC51 rear shock because the travel is almost the same and retains factory ride height. It also stated that it was bolt in. I purchased an '02 RC51 shock and the reservoir at the top does not clear the side of my frame. Did i get the wrong year? No response to PM as of yet so i figure id ask everyone.
Anyone know?

I have a 2001 B12, 2nd gen. Same year as Deepink's bike. Thats why im stumped as to why mine wont fit. I havent officially tried to cram it in as of yet but just in the hold-in test it is obvious that the reservior on top will contact the side of the frame. :?:

In case anyone is doing this mod other than myself, FYI: only the 01-02 RC51 shock bolts right in, due to the way the reservoir is mounted :beers:

I thought you bought an 02 shock and it did NOT fit. I'm a little confused...
