never ceases to amaze me.
BION, the signals on my '06B12S are "handed" i.e. there are lefts and rights. The lenses are NOT interchangeable because they have a little drain slot that is supposed to go on the bottom and Suzuki/Tokai Denso have "thoughtfully" made the housings and lenses so that you can't use a left hand lens on a right hand signal housing.
I'm sure the engineers in Hamamatsu could show me/you a whole page of reasons why they did it this way but to my mind it's just another dopey annoyance.  :taz:  :annoy:  :roll:

On the 2nd Gen 600, all four signals have different part #'s, mostly due to the length of the wires, which are different front to back. I was surprised.

At least the 06/07 Bandits have the "flexible" mounts. I've broken 4 signals on my '02, 3 of them in the garage when I "bumped"  them, moving stuff around.

I building up a nice box of spare parts, but I always break the same part of the mount. I've got lots of spare lenses now, but never broken one... Sheesh...

True, Paul, but now you break the housings instead of the stems.  :lol:  :taz:

Hey- I am not the only one then.LOL  Mine has black duct tape holding it together now.  where do you guys order you stock parts?  you dealer? or is there a good online source?

It depends on what I'm buying, if it's not a big savings, I'll buy from my local dealer. Not just to 'help him out' but in case there's an issue that needs attention. It's easier to deal with familiar faces when there's a problem.

As for online sources, check the back pages of the bike rags, there's lots of places that claim they have the lowest prices on OEM parts. I've had good luck with Ron Ayers (http://www.ronayers.com/index.cfm) for any of the Big Four Japanese bikes.
