I have an 01 1200S and am interested in a smoked windscreen for it. I am considering the Zero Gravity SR and Double Bubble models. Here is a link to these 2 products http://www.zerogravity-racing.com/sportbikes/suzuki_sptbks/171.htm

It appears that the SR is of similar height to the OEM shield and that the Double Bubble is a couple of inches higher. I am curious to know if anyone has tried the Double Bubble and if they experienced buffeting with the taller shield.

I am 5'11" and get no appreciable buffeting from the OEM shield. I would appreciate any and all comments on these 2 shield options.

Ya, except Dave's is a 1G and he installed the Sport-Touring (ST) screen.

Yes, the SR is similar to the OEM screen... that's why it is called SR (stock replacement).

I have the ZG DB on my 2G. No buffeting for me. However, be aware that windscreens affect people differently based on a variety of variables like what helmet you wear, your posture on the bike and your physical size.

I bought the suzuki DB made just for the bandit
even has the bandit logo on it

same thickness as the stock one but smoke and 2" taller
think it is even less $ than the ZG.

the ZG seemd a little flimnsy to me.
for me 5'9" the DB has been perfect. makes the bike look better too.

ZG/DB was what I had on my 2/Gen and I found it to be a great addition. I'm 6'1 1/2" (shrinking in my old age

) Good quality, nice fit and clean air around the helmet. Worked well for me.

DB is on my bike and I like a lot. No problems.
