Title: Saving Pictures From Forum Posts

Seems like my computer likes to save stuff as a bitmap only.... I can right-click on a picture (Clubhouse stuff, naturally) and "save picture as" and I know those are jpeg's.   What do I need to change to retain picture settings when saving.  I know how to take the bitmaps into Photoshop and resave them but what a freeking hassle.... any suggestions?????? :?:  :?:

BTW - using Windoze ME, IE 5.5.......    I don't have this problem on the work computer with Win 98SE.
