Tested out our iron asses today. A random morning ride turned into one hell of an adventure.
The W. San Antonio roads were very twisty and had some pretty harsh grades to them. Took it a lot easier with Heather on the back, but still got her down into the turns. :thumbup I'll let the pics do the talkin.
I had Heather hop off and take a couple of wheelie pics.

If you're ever up that way, highway 16 and RR337 are a pretty scenic ride :thumbup

Thanks. It's the only scenic part of Texas that I've found. :bandit:
And thanks for posting the first pic. Not sure what went wrong with the code.

Umm, Texas is HUGE, there's a LOT of scenery for sure. Maybe my sarcasm meter is broken.
Nice pics, I miss home.

You've not been around Texas much... :welcome:
While your out there try 335, 336 and 39 too. Then head off to East Texas. Great stuff out there as well.

Kansas + scenery = ?????????????
I know when I was in Northern Texas, scenery and good roads were very far away.

Head towards the OK/AR and MO/AR borders, there's some good riding and scenery around there.

LONG STRAIGHT roads between here and there. Hardly worth it. :boohoo:
-
Closer than CO. :stickpoke:
Heck, it's only ~175 miles (Wichita to Joplin) to that area... make a weeknd trip out it. :bigok:
There's a reason I brought everything with me when I moved out of Kansas... I didn't wanna hafta go back for anything.

I know about the OK/AR area. My in-laws live in that area and there is definitely some good riding around there. Only problem was that it was 6 hours away from where I lived at that time.
