Hey Rick

Good to see you got out for a good ride this past summer. A great write up and pics as well.  :beers:

The weather here in the Kootenays has been really up and down this summer. Now that it's almost October, we look to be having our best bout of weather since Feb...

It's great to see that old Water Buffalo still doing it's thing on a 3500 km trip!

Paul, it HAS been a funny year for weather....at least in Alberta.
BC, though, treated us very well that way while we were there....except for a couple of days as mentioned in my writeup.
Yes, the Buffalo ran along quite well this year......but last year on the same trip it only made it as far as Vancouver on the outward bound leg
because it ate its rectifier. So, it was a short trip for my buddy Allan last year.
He has now decided that the Buffalo will be demoted to day trips only around Cowtown. He's looking at a 1G Bandit currently for sale in Calgary as a replacement. Basically, he's not happy with my Bandit being able to out-perform the Buffalo on our trips, soooooo......bigger is better, I guess. The Buffalo, of course, has very short "legs" and requires fuel every 120 miles or so and that doesn't help matters either. Well, we'll see......
