I expect the 27th will be the last "official" bike nite for the year and we will be taking the banner down and stowing it until next spring when daylight savings time starts again. However there will still be myself and others there on Thursday evenings unofficially when the weather permits and even then the weather will have to be pretty bad to keep all of us away. In short, come on up!

Not so! 40 bikes showed up. I believe I would have been mobbed if I tried to take down the banner. Guess we will keep it up until people quit coming.

Sidebar: Just bought my wife her first bike. Yamaha XV250 Virago. This bike nite thing is infectious.

The cop in the video was a total dick.  "Oh, I just pull people over and see if they have insurance, a valid license, etc."  In other words, he is just harassing people on motorcycles regardless of whether they are exhibiting good driving skills?  I don't think riders should be burning out, pulling wheelies, etc. on a busy public street, but his overall tone came across like he doens't like motorcyclists very much...they're all on drugs and driking like idiots.
