Title: First big ride

I just had my biggest weekend of riding (only started a month ago)  i rode 350 miles this weekend, getting 52 mpg on my 2000 600.  I'm pumped about the motorcycle.  Only thing that sucks is my headlight is aimed to low, so when at night i had to keep my bright blasted otherwise i could only see about 20 ft ahead of me.  I'm gonna try to adjust it, but the diagrams in the manual aren't the most helpful

What don't you understand?
Turn screw #1 to adjust the beam in the horizontal (left/right) plane.
Turn screw #2 to adjust the beam in the vertical (up/down) plane.

If you make the adjustments at night (or other low light condition) with the lights shining on a wall, you'll be able to see the beam move as you adjust it.

i understand what to do, i don't understand what the picture is of.  I've seen the bolts i need to turn under the fairing, but cannot get to them.  I was thinking i had to take the fairing off to do this, but then this picture suggests otherwise, but i don't get the angle of the picture.  It was raining here so i havn't gone out to look, and it's probably pretty obvious, but i know i've had problems with these pictures before, so i was just planning ahead if that happened.

OK, well now I understand...  :lol:
It's a picture of the back side of the headlight and the fairing liner. Screw #1 is behind the "D" shaped hole in the fairing liner. It's the hole you may have been wondering 'what the hell is that hole there for?' - I know that's what I wondered until I found out what is was there for (yesterday).
