If it makes a great picture, Shoot it.

With your thread's title, I wasn't expecting to see your bike on the side of a road, I was expecting something more like this:

Black Forest - road from Freiburg to Titisee

Southern side of Pas de la Casa, Andorra

Northern side of Pas de la Casa, Andorra

Spiral Highway, just outside of Clarkston Washington (city on the right side of the river) and Lewiston, Idaho (city on the left side of the river)

Or at least something like this, that gives us a clue to those fun roads:

US 12 between Lewiston, Idaho and Missoula, Montana

And I know Southern Germany has plenty of FUN roads!

Well uhhh..I don't quite know...when I ride..bikes are a great point of interest but...where I'm at is sometimes a little bit more impressive in a way..like
take a short hike of the hill from a rest stop and bang...I get this
http://www.panoramio.com/photo/50373878
and if you folks will go out from this page then well you'll get all the Google earth stuff from the Ole GSF1811
and , and I mean AND, just putting the GSF1811 in the search bar and you'll get more....
how about it...

That's more like it!

Here's my gratuitous picture of Southern Germany from my 2006 visit:

Sadly, it was a tour in a diesel powered Opel station wagon, and not on a bike... but I did manage to get the poor little Opel up to 200 kph on the autobahn between Strasbourg and Augsburg.
It was sure fun to pass a police car at that speed and not even get a second look.  :cop:

That Panoramio site of yours is pretty cool.  :bigok:

Sadly I don't have a lot of pics of my (old) bike in Germany but this is one of them. Somewhere between Kaiserslautern and Pirmasens.

My kid (lives in Augsburg) will be here next week. Can't wait!
