Macks BBQ/Brunswick, GA
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is another decent, small BBQ restaurant, that may be within the travel path of some of our readers!

Located on US 17, within the city of Brunswick...Macks is small, crowded at lunchtime with locals, and has good food at reasonable prices.
Can't remember the exact address....but it's on US 17, maybe a half mile north of the road/causeway to St. Simons Island. (2809 Glynn Ave.!)

If you're travelling north or south on I-95, it would be an easy detour for some decent vittles!
(It's on the WEST side of 17, near a Burger King)

Good chopped pork, onion rings, slaw...and the beans are worth a shot!!
The beans have some finely ground meat in the sauce, as well as some 'crunchy' particles, I'm guessing are batter drippings.
I didn't sample the Brunswick Stew, but a relative says it good.
Adequate parking, except at lunchtime.
The owners or workers must ride, since there were a few bikes out front with 'for sale' signs, and some regional biker mags on display.
