North Carolina gathering
« on: September 27, 2006, 11:54:12 AM »
We have a small group going down to Ashville the second week of October.  The place we have rented sits on 200 wooded acres and is fantastic.  The roads are TWISTYYYYY and we are about 1 hr from the gap.  Most of the people going down are from Maximum Suzuki but we have room for a few more.  Good group of frinedly people.  Big bon fires at nite to party around and swap lies.  The roads are as twisty as they can get.  we are planning a ride to the gap as well as the motorcycle museum in Maggy Valley.  Our first day is Oct 8th and we are heading home Oct 15th.  Anyone care to join us for the entire week or part of it?  Huge garage for the bikes and hot tub on the deck.  Some riders are bringing their significant others.  Gonna be a great time    For those that have been to the BRMC bash,  Ashville is not too far away.  Two of the guys going down are motorhead supreme's, both having built 200 hp normally aspirated and turboed monsters.  Anyone want to discuss future mods?????

Of course its ok!!!!  Can never have too many at a bash!!  Google cloud nine relaxation and you can find all the information you need.  Depending on how many people we have the cost per person per night can be as low as 20.00

:?: Hey Reggie, do you think that Canadian beer is really high octane or...is it just measuring it by metric numbers?

:beers: Well, they offered so we can try it out, huh?  :beers:

Hello to our Bandit Buds in the great white north!! Is things still the same? If so can we get a word if there is still room. I hate sleepin in the damp cold woods in the snow. Remember there will be tons of leaf lookers up there and this lodge is full up other than you folk we will be SOL for lodging. We will need to find a place for the 7th but there is always the park!   :thanks:  :bigok:  :beers:  :beers:

A bud and i are just going to come up with the hope of finding a place if this doesn't pan out with the lodging? i hope the county jail has comfy bunks cause with all the leaf looker folk there this time of year we maybe SOL. They sound like a great group but no word since the warning on the beer thing!! Wonder on over on Sun. I hear those Max zuki riders are canyon carver killers!!!   :beers:  :beers:  :beers:

if you do a google for cloud nine relaxation you can find all the info.  I will also post the phone number that calls into the house we are staying at.  As far as the rides, a friend from the Maximum Suzuki site that lives in Ashville is putting together some routes and may lead for a few rides.  I will be talking with Janet at cloud nine tonite and post the number later.  Gonna be good to see some old friends and meet some new ones.  Hey wrecker, are you familiar with a map, think its called Mad Map, that highlites some of the roads and gives mileage of the loops, in and around the parkway?  Think I saw it when we were at the gap last spring.  Maybe some local bike shops carry it?
