A whole pack of us are making a trip to Northern California in late May. We have a route picked out from start through to California ending at Crescent City, CA.
We are looking for some good twisty roads between the South Coast of Oregon and the interior, say between Portland and Eugene, and they we will continue through Washington towards home.
We have already done Hwy 395, as well as Prineville through to Enterprise and north to Clarkston/Lewiston. Has anyone got some suggestions for roads going from SW towards North Central in Oregon?
I can hardly wait for this trip. Should be about 5000 km (3500 miles) in about 8-9 days.

Hi Pat, I wonder if we're related? Any way back to the subject at hand, there are sevral ways north and south thru the state that use I-5 minamaly. Would you like to stay in the Cascades or wonder thru the rolling foot hills/farm country? I'll put together a couple route maps for you.

I have been to Crater lake in Oregon before. That is a pretty area . If memory serves me correctly, it also goes to a fairly high altitude as well.
