Pictures from the Eastern trip
« on: August 15, 2007, 11:35:27 AM »
I have made a motorcycle-related digest of my pictures from the two week vacation in the East. I've seen some wonderful places and rode some amazing roads - an experience well worth sharing. Captions should provide enough info on the details. Your comments directly in the album or here are welcome.

Vlad ! Great photos and looks like you had a great time. I see you visited Mt. Washington too... I was just there a few weeks ago - isn't it amazing ?

Good stuff Vlad - thanks for sharing!

Mount Washington was really amazing and probably without a match in North America by how challenging it was to drive/ride.  It was the best start of an otherwise great trip and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's within a day ride from Toronto, so I may make it a weekend and go there again some day if I found someone to go with. I also know of a great place to stay near by.

I've seen your pictures too and especially like the video. Makes me want to put my stock clear windshield back on :).

Darn, I knew my tinted double-bouble will be good just for looks but I bought it anyway. What can I say, even I fall for a little bling every once in a while :).

A trip to Mount Washington would be a blast, especially if riding through Adirondacks on our way there and back :). I'll sure have you in mind when I get around to organizing it.

I paged thru the pix the other night, but didn't come back to close the loop.  So...wow, some beautiful landscape and a pretty bike, but there's this guy that kept getting in the pictures...

It was right after we had been discussing Elena's pix, and I kept trying to add her broken-English narratives to your pix.  "Road is steep and curves and difficult for motorcycles unprepared for wet.  Popular with young rider who enjoy much speed."  Maybe you can Photoshop her into a few pix?  Same pose, over and over, like Rodrigue's "Blue Dog" paintings. (http://www.georgerodrigue.com)  Feel free to use this great idea!

Thank you Sven. That guy is a freak of nature but I can't get rid of him. He is in so many of my pictures that people identify me with him, although I'm much better looking (think Ringo Star when he was younger) :).

Elena (Lena) would be a welcome decor, but I can find much better in my old country. Will post pictures of some when I find time to go back there. Broken English? Who cares when they are drop-dead gorgeous? :)

I'd rather *not* think of that, but if you can draw Barbara Bach (who, at one time, made me really consider a career as an international spy), who cares *what* you look like?!
