SO CAL ORTEGA HIGHWAY/ IDYLLWILD GROUP RIDE SUNDAY MAY31st2009

C'MON SO CAL BANDIT OWNERS LETS RIDE!!!  

It's fun to meet up and see what we've done to our bikes so lets get together!

Meet at "The Lookout" restaurant on the Lk.Elsinore side of Ortega Hghway (74) at 8:30am.....group leaves at 9:00am or so.
The addy of the Lookout is 32107 Ortega Highway, Lk. Elsinore 92530.

We'll ride down the twisty Ortega Highway and take some backroads through HEMET to go up the twisty curvy Highway 74 through IDYLLWILD...this is a GREAT road if you've never ridden it. We can then ride down the 243 making a quick stop at the bottom and ride back up through Idyllwild through Garner Valley past Lk. Hemet on the 74 to stop for Lunch.
 The 243 is another FANTASTIC road, nice and curvy but nothing real tight!....VERY fun!!
We'll stop for Lunch at the intersection of the 74 and the 371 at a little cafe called the "Paradise Cafe"....they have great burgers if you're a burger guy!

So WHO'S IN for a great day of riding with other Bandit owners?? Post here and I'll add your name to the list.........

Looks like most bandit owners buy thier machines on a whim because they are so "bitchen" and they spend thier time writin stuff on web sites instead of ridin

I hope thats not the case........we still have a week before the ride hopefully more So Cal Bandit owners can brave the terrible weather and post that they're coming!

Hi Jerry, I wonder if you give me directions from lookout to Idlewild via 74 to 243 to 10. or maybe we will just take the 10 to banning then 243 ande come home through Hemit and elsinore. A Bandit buddy and I want to take that ride sat.5/23. You would be more than welcome to join us all or part way. We will still join you next week, we just wanna roll that direction anyway. Banning Idlewild Panoramic Highway just sounds like a great ride

Well........with a few days left before the ride and after 175 "views" of the thread we have 2 riders signed up! So I guess we'll have a nice little group.
You So Cal Bandit riders sure are missing out on some FANTASTIC roads and scenery, where's the scratch your head smiley?.......and the weather is forcasted to be PERFECT in the 70's and 80's depending on where we are at the time.

There are a couple riders that signed up from Maximum "S" forum, so we should have about 4 04 5 riders.

Oh and Bill "Blades" wants me to call him when we meet at the Lookout in the morning, he may meet us at the bottom of the mountains in Hemet on the 74.
