Well, backed by popular demand, it’s time again to do our Spring Bling Meet ‘N Greet Thang!

What better way to kick off the spring and riding season than to get together with fellow riders?! It’s been a long and tough winter plagued by record breaking storms and winter riding blues! Hopefully your ride is out of storage cuz it’s time to celebrate riding 2008!

We’re going to hold it down at the Enfield Fox (same place last year where we had over 200 bikes show up and a surprising appearance on City TV!). Come anytime after 3pm till the bar closes.

This time it’s going to be an evening AND afternoon event! We’re going to organize rides leaving and arriving at the same spot. Unlike last year, we all just showed up and just hung out, which is okay. This way we have organized rides for those who want to go for a quick boot. Anyone here is welcome to organize their own ride, actually, I need volunteers! (we can do a newb friendly one, a longer run to the bellfountain/hockley, or an even a northern run/leave earlier, whateva floats your boat). You can start the ride at the spot and/or end it there.

Also, we will try and organize a small charity event . . . all you need to do is bring a non perishable food item that we can send to the food bank, simple! A monetary donation will also be possible (thanks to the suggestions made on the poll).

The bar has a large outdoor patio, awesome food, a nice selection of drinks, and great tunes. It's located on the southwest block of Highway 10/Hurontario and Burnhamthorpe in Mississauga. (b/w the 403 and the QEW). It’s near the Square One Mall, just south of it and just behind the Sussex Centre. There is free parking on either side of the street. Just like last year, we have to spread out the bikes. If arriving early, park your ride so that cars won’t fit in . The restaurant/bar is also right across a really nice Japanese Park called Kariya Park. (a must see during the day, bring your kids even!)

Saturday is Pub Night at the Enfield Fox. So after a long days ride we can chill inside or out and enjoy some suds (responsibly) and/or have a nice meal, you can bust the move even! Did I mention the food is amazing?! They’re reasonably priced, just check the menu on the website (the miniburgers and sweet potato fries are awesome!). If this is not your thing, you can’t go wrong with the Subway right next to it . Actually, there’s also a nice Korean/Japanese sushi place and Indian food around the corner.

Everyone is welcome! doesn't matter what you ride. We’ve had riders come from all corners of the GTA . . . and far beyond. If you're a newbie and would like to see what the whole GTAM scene is all about then come on out! If you don't know anyone, don't be shy, come out and introduce yourself. Just lurking? Then sneak on by! But everyone has to take the initiative and be social.

Please post up if your coming including number of guests so i can keep a tally and get more seats reserved. We basically can take over the patio, well the whole joint again if we got the same numbers we did last year.
