Does anyone know of a web site that allows you to track your own route and then feeds you back the directions and distance details?
-
You could try
http://rideplanner.harley-davidson.com/en/RidePlannerMain.jsp
There are a couple of aussie web sites that are similar, I'm sure there'll be one that covers your part of the world.

Thanks Aussie! That looks good.
I sure wish I could come down under and ride out the rest of your summer. It's very cold up here this week.

Don't wish your cold weather away......I'm waiting for it to cool down so I can go for a decent ride. 35C+ is not my idea of pleasent riding weather, mind you neither is anything below about 10C....
I know, I know, hard to please but my ideal weather would be slightly overcast (not to bright) with a temp of around 20C...perfect...

I totally agree. On this side of the globe it's June and September.
Last summer when I rode thru NYC in August, it was 34. That was insane, 34 degrees in stop and go traffic on an air cooled bike. Oh ya, and there were these big yellow cars that were trying to squish me like a bug.

34 degrees is kinda cold to me, I have ridden down to 25 but it wasn't fun. If you think 34 is hot you must be crazy.
