held at elvington in the uk, a gixxer 1000 ridden bt terry calcot completed the 1km runway with a new record of 172 mph, i rode for just one of the 3 days on my bandit and ran 108mph in 3rd gear to get on the score sheet, the winds were really bad and 46 riders failed to complete the km the day i was there
i had 1 run of 127mph in 4th gear all crossed up that missed the finish line by 10ft, next year i will run into the 130mph bracket i'm sure, there were only two bandits in the event, obviously we were there just to complete the km, my respect goes out to all who entered and had a go
