Got the bike a couple days ago and just realized that when the headlight switch is on lo beam, only the left headlight is lighted. On hi beam both are lighted. Is the bike supposed to go to only one beam on the low setting or do I have one burned out? I think its Triumph that uses one for lo and both for high, but I dont know if this is the case with the Bandit.

Welcome to the wonderful world of headlight mods !!!
(yes it's 'normal', and it's one of the big dislikes of most people.)

Yup.... that's the way it's suppose to be. I use high and low beams during the day anyway so it's not a problem.

For daylight riding, I dont care, but for night, I like all the light I can get and I dont want to put brights in the cager's eyes. Its bad enough that many cagers dont look where they're going, but I dont want to blind the few that may actually be trying to see what is in front of them. LOL
Any reason not to do a little wiring mod so I have two lo beams?

I just finished reading the thread. This is great!! I appreciate the help!
I sent them an email for ordering instructions. I gotta admit, the first night ride on the B12, I was not at all happy with the lighting as its only about half of the output of my old H4 Osram in the 8" reflector on my 83 gs 1100.
