Don't bother. It doesn't do anything for the US version of the B12.
The only thing it does is remove the restrictions on 2nd & 3rd gear for those markets where it was needed to pass emissions or noise restrictions. The US version didn't need this mod to pass DOT/EPA and isn't restricted that way.

Yes, the B12 has a rev limiter, but it doesn't kick in until you're at the redline, and there's really no reason to ever rev a B12 that high since it quits making power long before hitting the limiter/redline. It's there to keep you from doing damage to the engine from over-revving. If you do hit it, it doesn't stall, it just goes kinda flat. The one time I bumped into it, I immediately knew what I'd done and was mentally kicking myself in the a$$ for being so stupid to have revved it that high in the first place.

If you had a lot of engine mods (like BHolland's bike), you might want the motor to rev higher, but it's fine for bikes with just jetting and exhaust changes.
