Do metal Valve stems give better longevity on Bandit Wheels?
« on: November 29, 2013, 07:51:57 PM »
I have a '91 400, but most of the Bandit wheels seem to have a similar design. I've always been skeptical of metal valve nuts coming loose. It seems they would still need a rubber gasket to seal properly anyway. I just got a leak on my rear stem, and I'm not sure what type to replace it with. What are everyone's experiences with valve stems rubber or metal? Which last the longest or are the most practical for Bandit wheels?
