I found a gasket on fleabay and it's been shipped, so for the meantime I'll tough it out on the KLR this weekend at the ADVRider fall color rally in Hunter Mountain NY.
I tried snugging the bolts down on the side case and snapped one of them, so I've a lovely job of drilling it out and using an extractor on the broken stud. Fun wow!!!
