Title: Anyone have a rectifier for a B400?
Post by: zaptoman on April 12, 2006, 11:51:28 PM
I need a rectifier (working) for a B400, anybody have one, or know where I can get one for less than my life savings?

The search feature is your friend. There are threads in the 400 section that spell out your options.  :bigok:

I see in the motorcycle mags a place called Rick's stator.  Sounds like they have, rebuild, or can make about anything.

You could also try a reg/rec from another bike. I have a Yamaha Reg/Rectifier on my GS750EF that's worked for 3 years now. Seems Suzuki electrics are still a little wonky.

Seems several B4 riders are using Honda R/R's, too - which is why I said to use the search function.

Seems the newer Zooks have better electrics though. The 600/1200 Bandits are pretty reliable.

I'm one of them.    I have a Cb400 RR in my b4 right now.  The dealer had it in stock for $145 cdn.  A little better than the $295 that the Suzuki dealer wanted, and a week's wait time.

No problems whatsoever so far with it, and it's been on the bike for months now.

Now if I could just get the bike to start.
