I know some have gone up on the pilots... there's a chart on Fast Larrys site - if he ever gets his server back up - that gives the recommended one.
I didn't go up on the pilots, but then I don't have 4 turns out - or your kit either.

Change the pilot jets to 17.5's. Then you'll be at about 3 turns out on the A/F screws.

I concur with Paul. Some guys don't need the extra juice and some do. If you feel that 4 turns is too much, in my opinion it is, than try 1 size up. Fast Larry suggests going to 27.5 however I feel that's a little too much to go without trying 1 size up first.
Since you're pretty happy where you are with just a little bit of weeping on the pilots going a size up will probably put you down to the 2.5-3.0 turn mark which also has the added benefit of making the pilot screws more sensitive as well to really fine tune the cylinders.

i was out 4 1/2 with no leaks
but was too rich at idle
was compensating for lean mid by overrichening idle circuit.
with 2 shims i have gone back to 3 out
may need to go 3 1/2 for current temperature but when it gets warmer outside the air is less dense and 3 may be ok.

Glad those shims are working for ya Dave!
Try 3.25, in this cold weather it needs the extra bit of juice.
