Hi every one, I have bandit 250 1990, I cleaned the carbs yesterday and reassembled everything back together but now it wont rev past 6000rpm it just sputters like theres no fuel. So I took carb back off and checked the floats and diaphrams all jets to make sure i'd put everything back right and still does the same thing. AHAHAHAHHARRRRRR help please I love riding this bike and its killing me just looking at it sitting there.
PLEASE HELP

Thanks
Ian

What kind of shape are the rubber manifolds in?
It's possible that now that they've been disturbed any dry rot has become more evident.

Hi, yeah checked them they look in good shape, also check for holes, and they look ok. Thought about maybe sealing each cap with some silicone read this might work? Really not sure what to do, im just about to rip everything out again and have another look, also heard that mixing up jets can cause this, but im pretty sure each is a different size and can only go in one hole.

Thanks

Problem solved, did end up being the jets had 3 of the high flow jets in the low flow holes, bike runs sweet, hope this helps other people :)
