Goodridge brake lines representative in Queensland, Australia recommends the two line system over the single line. Ialso have braided line on rear brake, clutch and GSXR remote shock absorber line. A Goodridge kit comes complete with all hardware and are cut to exact size with correct angles on banjo fittings. Also they are one of the few if not the only company to Aust. Design Rule approval, over in oz all braided lines must have steel banjo bolts and fittings.

I replaced my brake lines when I took it to Seattle International raceway for a trackday. I wanted the brake response to be sharper.

I went from the OEM single line splitter, to HEL braided individual ines left-right. The feed bolt extends long out of the brake cylinder to accomodate two banjo fittings. Then, each one goes to each caliper. Oh, and I ordered mine is red as I just had to match it with my bike. Check out my avatar... with a magnifying glass.

Whil you are at it spend an xtra $50 and pick up a set of speed bleeders($7 per bleeder).  I switched to braided Galfers (2 line front, long banjo bolt came with) at about 1000 miles and was real happy with the improved braking response but I learned that bleeding brakes is not my favorite thing.  I just finished installing speed bleeders and talk about making bleeding easier.     Just crack the bleeder open 1/4 turn and squeeze the lever.  Even I couldn't mess it up.

Any sugestions on brake pads?

Nice! I've ordered a set of goodridge lines. The speed bleeds will look in to them sound a good idea. :thanks:

Let me suggest the brake pad topic in the 600/1200 FAQ.  :beers:
