Title: Gauge options for Gen 1 1200
Post by: Roguebandit on February 12, 2011, 07:46:29 PM
I want different gauges for my Bandit. I want display of Speedo/Tach/Fuel everything else is a bonus. I like the Acewell products but cant find one and have heard bad stuff about the product support. I gues my question is are there any other Suzuki (gsxr/sv) gauges that are directly compatible?

There are several threads on the board about aftermarket gauges - and there are several vendors.  As far as directly compatible OEM sets, I haven't heard of any.  One thihe 1G Bandits have a cable driven speedo, so newer bikes (and even some of the same era) won't work since they have electronic speedos.  With the tach, the redline on the face isn't likely to be at the same spot as the Bandit - that isn't even the same between the 600 & 1200.

that's pretty cool.  I've no heard of a Koso unit.  Where do you find that?  How much does it cost?

I'm looking at getting the Koso RX2. The only thing holding me back is the price tag. The vaypor gauge is a lot cheaper, but I'm not in love with the tach.
