I was thinking of getting Gen Mar handle bar risers for touring. Not too much $. Anybody using them? Do they help much.
Anythiing you DON'T like about them?
Thanks for any feedback.

Got em a few months after I purchased my 2002 Bandit in 03. I would not ride the bike without them. I really don't like to be bent over the bike as much as the stock bars require. They installed easy enough, just had to add a longer brake line for the front. ( It came with the riser kit. )

Worth every penny, just make sure they send you the correct risers for you model year bike as occasionally they send out the wrong one and someone tries to force them on.

Thanks for replying guys. I bought 'em at the end of the summer. I had to nag 'em to send the brake line, but they did do this no charge a week later.
I would like to also suggest that you buy forward pegs, (cheap), to help straighten you legs out. I bought these at the same time and now my Bandit is a true long distance bike. These mounted on my factory Suzuki engine guards. It you ain't got 'em, (or similar), Get 'em. They'll save $ when you lay the bike down, (and you will!).
:soapbox: snow comes soon.

Where did you buy the risers? What did you end up paying delivered? :thanks:

I got them right from Genmar - they are pricey - 139.00 plus shipping.
