I'm trying to convert a 99 1200 S-model to a standard with a single round headlight. So far I've stripped the fairings and bought a bucket headlight (off of a honda 599). Do you know of any sharp-looking headlight brackets that might work? Also - if you've done this yourself - how do you deal with all the extra wiring? I appreciate the input.

Is it a newer 599? Those lights look bad a$$

Ya, a brand new 599. I read somewhere that they put out a great beam, and they look good on the bike. Pricey though!

How about the stock B12 naked's brackets?
Since we never got the 1G B12N here in the US, I've never seen them in person, but they look a lot like the 2G naked's brackets, except the blinkers are hung on their own brackets. The naked SV1000 uses the same or very similar brackets.

The 3G is similar to the 2G, but has provisions for the little fairing they have around their clocks.

If you're gonna go with aftermarket brackets, they need to fit 43mm fork tubes.
